Hello! I’m Rachel Smith, a multifaceted artist based in Austin, Texas, who finds joy in creating murals and functional ceramics.
I started my journey into the “Real World” as an Interior Designer 6 years ago. However, I quickly decided it wasn’t for me - my heart was screaming to be let out of its cage.. err.. cubicle. After getting a little savings going, I decided to take a leap and lean into my childhood passion.

Fast forward to today - I’m wholeheartedly focused on painting murals and creating unique, small-batched ceramics. Believe me when I tell you, these two things LIGHT. ME. UP! There’s something poetic about the seemingly messy and chaotic art process in creating a clean and intentional piece of work for the user to experience and interact with. I love creating pieces that provoke thought, emotion and inspiration.
On any given day, you can find me listening to a new audiobook, cuddling with my dog, rock climbing or hanging with friends.
